Zihni Memisoglu was born on January 3, 1966 in Rize. He started his business life at his young ages and GIMAS Ship Supply & Services Company was established in 1992 in order to serve in the ship supply sector. He has extended firm’s operations in Turkey with Tuzla and Mersin branches. In addition to domestic operations, he has reshaped his firm’s road map with the vision of “Global Reach Personal Touch” and he has moved towards international locations. After a marketing office in Athens in 2014, a new firm was established in Rotterdam with a warehouse and office, in 2016. He has taken leading steps for the institutionalization of the Turkish Ship Supply Industry. As the founder president of Turkish Ship Supply Association (TURSSA) , he managed the Association between 2003-2011 and reelected as the President again in 2021. After that at the 8th Ordinary General Assembly held in December 2024, Memisoglu was reelected again as the President and continues to serve. Zihni Memisoglu leads the Assocaition with the vision of “qualifed, trustable and eco friendly service bridge between land suppliers and maritime industry” Memisoglu joins ISSA and OCEAN meetings regularly and represents the Association as the TURSSA President. He leads the Association in coordination with in public institutions to reach the recognition target of the Sector. Also, he is the member of Turkish Chamber of Shipping Council and Turkish Chamber of Shipping’s Ship Suppliers Professional Committee. Also, he is the member of (TURMEPA) Turkish Marine Enviroment Protection Association. He is married and has three children.
Born in 1973 in Mecitozu, Corum. Osman Bilgin, completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul, and graduated from the Maritime Business & Management Department at the Maritime Faculty of Dokuz Eylul University. From 2000 to 2016, he served as the Chairman of Arma Marine Services & Int. Ship Supply Inc. After transferring his shares in 2016, he founded "Mare Supply & Services" in Turkiye, bringing a fresh vision to the industry with a team composed entirely of maritime professionals to provide "Ship Supply & Marine Services." Currently, he is the founder of "Mare Supply & Services", "Flagship Ship Agencies Inc.", "Mare Logistics Inc.", and "Eagle Marine Survey Inc." in Turkiye, as well as "Mare Trading LLC", "Mare Logistics LLC", and "Casa Mare LLC" in the USA, and he has collected all companies under the Mare Group umbrella. Passionate about maritime affairs, Bilgin serves as an Assembly Member of The Chamber of Shipping in Turkey, Vice Chairman of the Turkish Ship Suppliers Association (TURSSA), and a Board Member of the Turkish Maritime Association (TURDEF). He is also actively involved in various local and international non-governmental organizations. In his social life, Bilgin is a member of the Association of Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty Graduates Alumni (DEFMED) and the Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association (TURMEPA). Additionally, he is a Congress Member of the Besiktas Gymnastics Club (BJK) and a licensed track/rally pilot under the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), holding various titles and trophies in track championships. His articles on the ship supply industry have been published in several newspapers and magazines. Bilgin is married, has a daughter and a son, and speaks English fluently.
Born in Istanbul in 1985, Emre Özgen completed his primary education at Nurettin Teksan Elementary School and his secondary education at Saint Benoit French High School. In 2009, he graduated from Işık University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. After completing his military service, he started working full-time at Özgen Gemi Tedarik Ticaret A.Ş. and later assumed the title of Managing Director. He currently continues his role at Özgen Ship Supply. Emre Özgen also has partnerships in various companies within the maritime industry and is a member of the Galatasaray Sports Club Congress. He is fluent in English and French, married, and a father of two children.
He was born in 1976, in Istanbul. He completed Dogus Private High School. He graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University's Faculty of Economics. In 2001, he started his business life at their family owned company. He has partnerships with different companies in Maritime sector which are duty free sales, ship agency and maritime transport services. Also he has been working as General Manager in Falcon Tax Free Store Management & Trade Inc. He is married and has 2 children. He speaks English fluently.
He was born in Istanbul in 1959. After graduating from Kabataş High School, he continued his education at Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters. He is the founder and partner of Admiral Ship Supply, a company that has been operating for over 30 years. He is a member of Istanbul Sailing Club and the Beşiktaş Sports Club Council.
